The 3M™ Fire Barrier Restricting Collar RC-1 works in conjunction with 3M™ Fire Barrier Wrap Strip FS-195+ or the 3M™ Fire Barrier Wrap Ultra GS for fire stopping penetrations in wall, floor and floor/ceiling assemblies.The 3M Fire Barrier Restricting Collar RC-1 holds the wrap strip in place and provides anchor tabs for securing the collar assembly to the wall or floor. It comes in a convenient 25-foot (7.62 m) roll, allowing you to cut only what you need. The 3M Fire Barrier Restricting Collar RC-1 is required for plastic pipes larger than 4 inches (101 mm) in diameter that have been firestopped with 3M Fire Barrier Wrap Strip FS-195+ or Ultra GS.
